1. I love Bette Davis's last words before she died "Take Fountain". She gasped these words and then passed away. It is such a LA/Hollywood story.

3. That's a dangerous little intersection. I used to live at Sweetzer and De Longpre, a stone's throw from that corner (Bette Davis's last apartment was just down the street), and it was not unusual for there to be 2-3 accidents a week there.

   How great is the building on the corner? I remember hearing the apartment at the top is a penthouse suite that is rented controlled for $400 a month. Probably a lie, but an interesting, envy-provoking lie nonetheless.
