Much speculation today on whether Jake and Heath will have the guts to shatter Hollywood's taboo against gay sex. Salon reports that online forums like this one have been experiencing "increased chatter" over the biggest romantic "gay" casting in years (aside from Lord of the Rings), with one fan even creating his own poster (below) before today's announcement.

Don't get your hopes up.
In the tradition of Will Smith in Six Degrees of Separation, Tom Hanks and Antonio Banderas in Philadelphia - don't expect much in the way authenticity of emotional or sexual expression no matter who ends up in these roles.
