  1. The only thing disturbing about the short video is that these paranoid claims continue to fly around the internet and now, apparently, have been packaged into a fairly slick format.

Passengers from AA flight 77 communicated with people on the ground throughout their ordeal. The 757 aircraft they were on did not simply vanish from the earth. For the last few minutes of the flight, controllers at nearby National Airport watched an AA 757 do a wide circle above DC before slamming into the Pentagon.

Every claim made in this video has been answered many times over. This reminds me of the claims that the Apollo moon landing never happened.

  2. I figured as much although it's much more interesting to think that Dick Cheney was somehow responsible.

  3. O, ye of little faith. It was The Rapture.

  4. One more point regarding eyewitness accounts. CBS has released a DVD called "What we saw." Mostly it's just a recording of what a viewer would have seen had he or she been watching CBS the morning of September 11, 2001.

When the first plane hit the WTC, the CBS Early Show was on. Bryant Gumbel started fielding calls from eyewitnesses on the ground.

Guy #1: "It looked like a little Cessna crashed into the top of the tower."

Guy #2: "It was a small plane. It just sort of bounced off the building and then crashed on the ground."

This reminds me of the Pentagon eyewitness accounts laid out in the short film here.

  5. That little film borders on offensive. Regardless, it answers nothing. It sets up a series of questions, but doesn't give any theory about what really happened. Where did the plane go? Pieces were found inside the Pentagon! Or did that plane disappeared over N. VA. No. It's bullshit. I live in a high rise that faces the Pentagon and I agree that it is weird we have never seen any real footage of this, but puleeeeeez - were aliens involved?!

  6. It is so "gay" to make fun of Clay Aiken's tour's standing hotel food order. No doubt you and I would be just as peculiar and precise.

And if one has ever traveled en masse for extended lengths and dwelled in hotel suites under the direction of those other than oneself, one understands the requirement of such strict, if finicky protocol.

So why make fun of the bra?

  7. People landed on the moon? When? Where have I been?
