Gannongate Update

Gannon2

The New York Times has joined the fray, placing the Valerie Plame issue at the forefront of their piece.

Meanwhile, Gannon appeared on Wolf Blitzer last night and stated that Talon News had 700,000 daily readers. DailyKos puts those numbers to shame with a simple check of Alexa, the online site ranking system, which ranks Talon at #640,000 of all sites on the web. They point out that with 365,000 visits, the DailyKos site ranks 3,365.

How long will it be before the media just drops this and moves on? They seem to do this a lot.

  2. What is up with all of these right-wing closet cases being enlisted by the Bush administration? Before being secretly paid to push the Bush administration's "No Child Left Behind" agenda, Armstrong Williams was speaking out against same-sex marriage rights ... yet at the same time he has been sexually harassing men for years ...

  3. The comments section of that Daily Kos entry explains the 700,000 readers figure... apparently the Talon News'... er, output, is regularly sent out to an e-mail list (which claims to number at least 500,000) of people who've subscribed via the GOPUSA website. I'm surprised no one's jumped on that since it ties the supposed news organization and the political group together even further.

I mean how would the Limbaugh and Co. reacted if a reporter was getting access to Clinton press conferences if his news organization's material only got published in the Arkansas Democratic Party newsletter?
