Undercover Agent

Bel Ami Entertainment's three biggest stars, Lukas Ridgeston, Johan Paulik, and Sebastian Bonnet made an appearance in L.A. at A Different Light Bookstore on Monday to sign autographs and greet fans. COLT Studios arranged the in-store appearance when it learned of the performers' brief L.A. availability. "They are not here to film," COLT's Kristofer Weston told, "just to visit."

But what were they doing in L.A. the weekend of the Oscars? Perhaps to reduce the stress of planning an annual party for clients, crew Bel Ami was reportedly flown in by a senior agent at one of Hollywood's top talent stables for a more private appearance—in his bedroom. Like all entertainment-hungry industry types, says our source, "he likes to watch." Then again, who doesn't?

  3. You're so close on this item. The boys were flown in not for an in-store appearance or to film, but it WASN'T a top hollywood agent that flew them in for a private show. They were flown in by a HUGE star who made sure they were at his oscar bash.

  9. Speaking of big Oscar parties - how was Elton John's party?

  10. here's the speculation from Datalounge:

As another thread mentioned, there was a HUGE boys-only party at Bryan Lourd's house over Oscar weekend. Lourd is, of course, Carrie Fisher's ex-husband who came out and dumped her and is now one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) agent in town. Lots of queens were at the party (some gay Repug lobbyist DIED at the party) and I'll bet Bryan brought in the Bel Ami boys as party decor.

  13. I was at Limato's party and the boys were there. If he was the one who brought them out or if it was the 'huge star' I don't know, but they were certainly at his pre-oscar bash.

  14. thanks Source. any truth to following?

IN the battle of the bashes between ICM and CAA — two of the top talent agencies in Hollywood — CAA's Bryan Lourd seems to have defeated ICM's Ed Limato. The two agents threw simultaneous parties Friday night at their Beverly Hills mansions, and both barred reporters from their guest lists. But sources said Limato's bash — which in past years drew such top stars as Mel Gibson, Jim Carrey (inset) and Sly Stallone — was less stellar this time, and many big-name guests left early to get to Lourd's soiree, which was more intimate, younger, and better-looking. One guest said of Limato's party, "It was like a wax museum." Meanwhile, Endeavor agent Patrick Whitesell avoids competition by throwing the very last of the post-Oscar parties, a tightly exclusive bash in a mansion in the Hollywood Hills that begins in the wee hours and raves until dawn. Journalists aren't welcome there, either.

  16. Elton John had them flown in to be at his Oscar bash and Donatella Versace provided them with outfits. That's what I done read.

  18. Republican media adviser R. Gregory Stevens was found dead last Saturday in the Hollywood home of actress Carrie Fisher. He was there to attend "pre-Oscar party Friday night at the home Creative Artist Agency chief Bryan Lourd, the actress' former husband....A flamboyant personality and bicoastal bachelor, Mr. Stevens was regarded as something of a misfit in the corridors of the buttoned-down lobbying firm." 21. Just a thought, Bryan Lourd was not married to Carrie Fisher, Paul Simon was. Brian Lourd is the father of her daughter.
