Smells Like Team Spirit

Herndon2

Who doesn't enjoy the sight of 1,000 semi-naked Navy boys attempting to mount an obelisk covered in lard? Herndon, they call it at the U.S. Naval Academy, and Chrisafer, our friend down in DC (bless him) has this year's ceremony well-documented.

  1. Oh my! Hunky Sailors climbing a hard lubed pole! Glad to see my tax dollars are being used for some solid higher education!

  2. I thnk I had a dream like this once only when we reached the top of the pole it started spurting. I was in Jr. High. What do you think it meant?

  3. By the looks of it, some of them were spurting before they even reached the top of the pole. What a great excuse for closeted gay sailors to have a chance at groping their studly straight counterparts...and it appears they took the opportunity...I see that head between the legs and the strategically placed fingers and hands...hmmm, it's getting hot in here!

  8. I went to a college in DC and heard about Herndon -- it is legendary thing in DC area. So I went once and I enjoyed watching the guys immensely. These little things made me proud to be American. Enjoy what is on the table -- the monument is covered with lard -- I touched it and it was so gross, though.

  10. I grew up in Annapolis. At 17, I went to watch my first boyfriend do that. Aaah, good times. Especially afterwards.
