Wire: Boy George arrested in New York on charges of making a false police report and drug possession after police received a call about a burglary in his Little Italy apartment early Friday. When police arrived they allegedly found a small amount of cocaine next to a computer, and upon further inspection with a search warrant, found "a large quantity" elsewhere in the apartment.

Are the police sure that the white powder is cocaine? Perchance a paranoid crystal call to the authorities?

What a shame - What a mess - Maybe he can room with Jessica, Kate and Lindsey at Betty Ford

I think the real news here is that fabulous boy george has an apt in little italy? Does he have a thing for crowds and canolis?!? The only thing that would surprise me more was if his apt was searched and they found no white powder.

Once a loser, always a loser. I hope they send the bastard back to England.

a) JEB: Cocaine can make you paranoid, too, can't it? Just a thought.
b) JAY CROCE: Nice display of compassion.
c) Consider the possibility that the police planted the stuff. "The thin blue line" and all.

I think we all know this is a 'non-story'. I have known 'Boy' for years, and he has never cleaned up his act. He gets what he deserves. He should have known better-but alas, he was fucked-up when he made the call.

Cruel & Bitter comments, to delight in someone else's misfortune, even though he brought it on himself, is really in poor taste.

Rejoicing about another's mistake is pretty odd -- especially considering his only real "crime" was wasting police time with a false/paranoid report. You gotta wonder about what type of people actually enjoy such news reports. Very, very strange people.

Can't say that I'm surprised after seeing him spin at a club here in Indianapolis last weekend.
