The Great Metrosexual Pumpkin
I love getting email from readers, especially when it includes creative endeavors in context with Towleroad's obsessions. Apparently Todd R. from Seattle is something of a Becks fanatic himself. Here's the pumpkin he'll place on his front porch, sure to strike fear into the hearts of thoroughly mystify the trick-or-treaters. Let's see that thing flaming, Todd!
Thought I'd also include these training shots (via pink) of Beckham offering a show of affection to teammate Iker Casillas. They're from last April, but you know, better late than never.

it's so nice to see our boys expressing their feelings for one another. sends a certain kinda tremor through my groins.
i'm currently loving the new Nike advert featuring mister charlotte church (Gavin Henson). Yum.

I will not attempt to judge Beckham's sexuality from these photos, but his sincere expression of affection for his teammate is beautiful to behold. What we perceive as homoerotic behavior could simply be that he is emulating team spirit with his comrades as displayed by Europeans at sporting events for some time. We are seeing more scenes of male affection and bonding in movies and TV between characters that we perceive as both straight and gay. These expressive moments are spilling over into the mainstream of life. Whatever the underlying feelings of these beautiful men, I hope that we see a lot more of these public displays as the message communicated by the act speaks volumes as to the power of love, hope and peace for the future of humanity.

Um... Everyone's talking about Becks showing his affection in these pics when it looks [to me] like everyone else is using him as a kissing/humping dummy. Not that he looks offended or anything but he doesn't seem to be the "active" partner, in these photos at least.
