road.jpg Tom Cruise blocks further broadcast of South Park episode that showed him in the closet: "Tom is famously very litigious and will go to great lengths to protect his reputation. Tom was said not to like the episode and Paramount just didn't dare risk showing it again. It's a shame that UK audiences will never see it because it's very funny." He'd rather ruin his reputation himself.

road.jpg Is it any surprise that David Dreier plays for the defense?

  3. I wonder if Cruise realizes to the extend his reputation has been damaged recently? Or if he even cares? Virtually everyone I know can't stand him anymore. Everyone.

  4. Come on Tom Tom, we've all been "picked on" in the schoolyard and didn't run to the principal everytime it happened. I'm with Ken, most of my friends, gay and straight, are through with him. There comes a time when SOMEONE can become a SOMETHING.

  5. What we got here - Michael Jackson Syndrome? By that, I mean is there no one close enough - and sane enough - to Cruise to explain to him that his exertions to block the show ONLY serve to make the parody appear legitimate?

  6. I wonder what John Travolta thinks of his inclusion in this hilarious South Park episode?

  7. Tom has now guaranteed that for all eternity, or for at least as long as anyone remembers Tom Cruise, that South Park episode will be a cult classic.

    Fifty years from now, on all the Classic Movie channels, a Tom Cruise movie will be preceeded by that South Park episode, and jokes about how Cruise spent his entire career complaining about being called Gay.

    He has sealed his own fate.

  8. it is NOT Tom cruise but the church of scientology who block the broadcast of South Park.
    The Sun, because, it is 'the source', has no balls to stand up against the cos;
    Why would Tom C sue? they never said he is "gay" or anything on the show.
    But they hurt the cos with "a global scam".

    Please, be careful of the newspaper and tv news.

  9. I totally agree with Jacko...what is the phrase that comes to mind? Tom, thou doth protestest overmuch? Just a smidge...an understatement to be sure...
    For someone who wants to be taken seriously, he sure has made himself a laughing stock by suing every Tom, Dick and Harry that says he was eyeing lustily said Tom, Dick or Hairy...a shushhhh on me...I might get sued! LOL

  12. I think if he were straight, he would just laugh it off... like 'so what... I'm flattered for getting the attention...' The fact that he cares more than the average person does, says something.

    Now the first question is, is Katie really having HIS baby?? The second is, who really cares about Tom Cruise's career anymore? Whatever...
