Josh Weast, a 22-year-old tumbling coach was banned from campus at Mater Dei High School in Breese, Illinois after school officials discovered he had acted in gay porn. "Weast said yesterday he regretted making the videos, but he said he made them about a year ago at a time when he needed the money badly. Still, he said his private life should have no effect on his coaching activities."
After his recently alleged webcam outings, Clay Aiken is ready to do his best Tom Cruise, according to the New York Post: "Aiken, whose image is based on a church choirboy, was even sued by some irate fans claiming false marketing - and now, spies said Aiken was spotted last Tuesday night at the Dinner De tective, a murder mystery dinner in Los Angeles with "a gorgeous girl on his arm."

In February I posted about Kanab, Utah, and the sexist and bigoted "pro-family" resolution it was adopting. Well, some Kanab business owners are worried that the resolution may interrupt their tourist business and have created a sticker for tolerant businesses to display prominently. That is, if anybody visits Kanab in the first place. Biz owner: "I'm mad about what the council did. We're a tourist destination with people coming here to sleep and eat, and we [business owners] have worked hard to have something to show."
Tennis legend Billie Jean King says she is designing a health and fitness center for an LGBT retirement community in Palm Springs. King: "This will be a fun place to live and be healthy. It's about the body, mind and spirit the whole person. You don't have to be alone when (you) get older. There's a sense of safety and hope and choice."

You know, Andy, I'm gonna call the pet-store lady in Utah that's quoted in the news story and tell her how much I appreciated her effort to put some good language into the poison that the Republican City Council voted in her city, and ask to buy some of those stickers. Someday, we'll all look back and artifacts like this will be so valuable, to show where the good people of America finally came to their senses and stopped listening to self-hating Republican closet cases like Ken Mehlman, Jeffy GuckertGannonProstituteGOPNewsShill, and the Log Cabin Republicans.

Hey Andy,
Love your blog but when you use the term "pro-family" please put it in quotes. They (the right wing that constructed the term) are not "pro" or "family"

Yes, I agree, and if you are in Kanab UT, then by all means, stop by and see her and thank her for her support.
Unfortunately, many gays and lesbians in UT are LDS and are in arranged marriages and are extremely fearful of exposure.
Friends have told me that allegedly even the General Authorities up to the First Presidency have gay progeny.

Isn't it sad that some entertainers have to be so closeted that they engage in unprotected sex.
The risk is that the world will know his sexual orientation when he reaches HIV positivity and worse.

The only surprising part of the story is that Weast was surprised the school wouldn't want a porn star on their faculty. What was he thinking?
Does the name Lafave ring a bell? I don't think anybody is hiring ex-porn stars to take care of children these days.

Josh Weast was "banned" from campus? Unless he signed an agreement when hired stating that he had never acted in gay porn flicks, well then they are discriminating big time. Asses. And eww...is that supposed to be Clay Aiken in those pics? That looks like his face, but that torso? Hon, Clay Aiken is a stick boy.
