Steven Klein Revisits Madonna in W

Madonna wants everybody to make sure she's not afraid of horses, posing with six of them in a second collaboration with Steven Klein in the next W.

Reports USA Today: "Among the images: a topless Madonna in fishnet stockings, long leather gloves and riding crop; the singer dressed in black, cavorting with a horse on the sand; Madonna pulling a horse's tail."

And yes, this goes on for 58 pages.

  1. I'm so tired of her contrived career.

  2. Thank GOD I'm a subscriber! Her collaborations with Steven Klein never disappoint. I know someone is going to smack me down for this, but together they make some great art.

  3. After "Ray of Light", I lost track and interest. She just keeps going, and going... It's trifling. I'm so tired of celebrity, they're not Gods and it's just plain sad after a while...

  4. It seems unkind to expect celebrities to fold up and disappear just because they are getting older. Madonna is still beautiful and fun to listen to and watch. I don't remember her ever claiming to be a great singer, but she (still) knows how to work a dance floor.

  5. Exactly Bryant.

Why is Madonna is the person everyone loves to hate?

Who are we comparing Madonna to that is so GREAT?

  6. To the naysayers, what's so wonderful about celebrity and pop culture is that it is easy to just tune out. While I can't bear to read about Paris or Lindsay or [fill in the blank], I still find Madonna endlessly entertaining. If you don't, just ignore Her. But, for God's sake, She isn't going away because people are "tired" of Her.

  7. Oh Andy, thank GOD you posted a Madonna article, I missed all the negativity!

  8. It's very interesting that at this point in Madonna's career there is still a percentage of people that are saying she's over. It's been going on forever. I've been a fan for a long time and although I don't think everything she's done has been great, I believe that as an artist and entertainer she has had enough insight and integrity in her abilities to maintain and continue for as long as she has. The only thing that is truly "tired" is anyone still trying to discredit her as simply celebrity or a master media manipulator. Any of you tried doing it for 25+ years? Seems unlikely.

  9. Yes Virginia, there are some things more interesting. One of those things is watching pretentious gays proclaim Madonna "so over' year after year for the past two decades like if they keep calling it out until it actually becomes true they win a prize or something. Get over yourselves.

  10. Haven't you ever noticed how Foxnews never writes anything about Madonna until there's something negative to write about? Even when there's not enough negative to write they lie and make up negative stuff, same as they do with their news. The latest article on the festival had the caption that read "Madonna Gets Booed Off Stage" yet there was nothing in the article that mentions her being booed off stage. It's just flagerant at this point.

  11. Isn't it amazing that even the ones who are "tired" of her, still manage to pull away from their (I'm sure) incredibly 'busy and meaningful' life to waste (Yes! WASTE) their energy and time on putting her down?
Entire groups of people, religions, countries, etc. have been putting her down and calling her all kinds of names and athrocities since before she became The MADONNA, THE MATERIAL GIRL, EVITA, BOY TOY, MAVERICK, A SIGN OF THE APOCALYPSE, THE BLONDE AMBITION, MADGE, etc., etc., but still she is an inspiration, a symbol, and even an role model for many of us. Yes... (again) I said role model. I don't know the lady personaly, but my opinion of her is excellent.

  12. Madonna has the kind of cool we all want and will likely never have. I'm 32 and what little cache I have now will be dust by the time I'm 47. That I could maintain any...magic at 47 is mystifying and thus a big part of why Madonna remains so alluring. She maintains the magic.

Even if at times you can see right through it. (As that might be part of the spell.)

  13. Madonna is awesome! She has never been tired of watching. She has worked hard, but some think that just because she has made something of herself, they want to see her fail. Why are we like that? She has done a lot in her career, both good and bad, but haven't we all? I always look forward to see what she has to say, because usually - no usually is the wrong word, 99.9999% she has something interesting to say. If someone anyone knew, wouldn't they want the best for them, or would you want someone special to you to fail? Peace-out!
Peace & love makes the world go 'round......
